My name is Mel Auret and I am an online business, blogging, direct sales and network marketing coach and internet entrepreneur! This site is my official blog and is filled with tons of great content, information, tips and ‘know-how’ to setting up a profitable and successful online business, so whatever you’re into you’re sure to find some great stuff here!

So, how can I help you to do this…?
I grew up in Oxford, England as the middle of 3 kids (the jam in the sandwich I like to think!). My father is a business entrepreneur and property developer who always encouraged us to be independent and strive to achieve greatness in our lives. I decided after a period of time travelling the world and seeing and experiencing new things that the path of academia wasn’t for me and I forewent a place at University to move to Florence, Italy by myself at the age of 19.
I wanted a big challenge and believe me, moving somewhere where you don’t speak the language or know anyone was quite a challenge! I had a fantastic time for a while, partying and having fun….
Things don’t always go to plan though….
I moved back to England 3 years later after I lost my then boyfriend in a road accident. That totally changed my perspective on things and that experience literally changed me forever. I saw clearly that life was too short to waste and you have to grab every opportunity that comes your way, whether it succeeds or fails, because you can only regret the things you never tried.
I moved to London and got a job in sales and marketing, working for a big property and office management firm. I worked hard, put my head down and decided I wanted to become a ‘business success’…
Be careful what you wish for…..
After 5 years of working my way up the corporate ladder, working 14 hour days and having my confidence slowly chipped away I decided to take stock.
Here I was at 27 with a decent salary but stressed out, ill, tired, depressed, in debt and out of control. I had no time for relationships and nights out with my friends
seemed to consist of complaining about my job and how miserable I was. Was this the life that I had envisaged for myself? Was I going to enter my 30’s miserable, in debt, stressed out and lonely? I was sick and tired of making millions for the bosses and wasting my life on the classic business treadmill day after day – after all, hadn’t I always wanted MORE FOR MYSELF?
I decided that things had to change….
Around this time I began to read some books and do some research into lifestyle, personal development, mindset and self empowerment. I friend gave me a copy of ‘The Secret’ and I began to read about empowering yourself, attracting abundance and getting what you want out of your life.
All of a sudden it made sense – I decided on the type of life I wanted and went out to make it happen!
Discovering working from home….
I knew about network marketing as my mother had been in the industry for 10 years and had made a ton of money using a business ‘system’ to attract leads and suddenly a lightbulb went off in my head! I knew that this was what I had been waiting for…..
The opportunity to work from my beautiful home, with hours that suited me and the ability to put myself back through college all sounded perfect. I worked at it and worked at it but became more and more frustrated at how little effect I seemed to be having! I was doing everything my upline told me to do, and getting nowhere… and I suddenly realised I was failing at the one thing I wanted to be good at…and it was totally depressing!
However, I didn’t give up! By now I had mastered the art of believing in success, having a success mindset and continually believing that I was on the right path, I had absolute 100% faith….
Discovering the power of an online business….
One day I was searching online for an answer to my business woes and I came across a new world that totally opened my eyes – I was so excited I didn’t sleep for a week! Of course…it was marketing using the awesome power of the internet and how powerful it is for budding entrepreneurs like myself….
I got excited, I listened to that intuitive voice inside telling me this was the opportunity I had been waiting for and I invested in my online training from some of the best personal online networkers and coaches in the world (Ann Sieg, Mike Dillard, Mike Klingler, Mark Hoverson, Jonathan Budd, Katie Freiling).
I learned how to master the internet and my extensive knowledge includes skills such as:
